  • Go to your App folder.
  • Locate Battery.
  • Find Fast Charging. 
  • Make sure it is enabled.

Remember, it is not recommended to use your phone for long-span while it is charging. If fast charging on S7 is enabled, still it is not working for you. Then you might have to clear the cache of your phone. Some people turn off fast charging on S7 thinking it will improve the battery life of their phone. This is a wrong concept.

Also, make sure you are using the original data cable and charger for your Galaxy S7.

Clear Cache to fix Galaxy S7 Fast Charging Issues:

Before moving forward, you should know that clearing cache of your phone won’t delete any data present in your phone. So you don’t have to worry about it. Clearing cache just deletes the temporary files created by system and apps for fast processing.

  1. First, turn off your Galaxy S7 and get into Recovery menu.
  2. To get into the recovery menu, while your S7 is off. Press volume up + home + power button simultaneously. Keep on holding the buttons till you see Android figure on your screen.
  3. Now you will see a number of options on the screen. Use volume keys to navigate to “Wipe Cache Partition“. Use the power button to select it.
  4. Now it will confirm if you really want to wipe cache. Select yes.
  5. See the log on the bottom of the screen. When clearing cache process will be complete. Then select “Reboot System Now” to restart your phone.

That’s all, even if it takes some time to clear cache, give it time. Don’t restart it or power off while it is in process. If It does not helps you to fix Galaxy S7 fast charging, then make a backup of your data using this guide and factory reset your phone using the recovery menu. I have a Galaxy S7 running Nougat. There’s no Battery app in the app folder.

You just need to locate the battery settings in the settings menu.
